Pros and cons of Bloomberg GMAT Prep app for iPhone and iPad
Bloomberg GMAT Prep app good for
Great app. Free trial lasts a week and covers 20% of the lessons. Expensive program if you choose to upgrade. I think this is the best GMAT test prep program available
The structure of the app is really good.. The way it makes you practise rules is unique and very interactive.... This helps you to not only understand the rules well enough but also helps you in understanding how the rules may be tested in actual gmat question.
I would highly recommend this app to gmat aspirants....
And cudos to the team !!!!!!
Best GMAT App so far. Serious exercises, adaptive learning and tutors. Why hasnt this App been reviewed yet?
I only have to say good things about the economist GMAT tutor. I love having the app for on the go and also working online. Sessions can be small. Ive had troubles starting it offline but actually Im not concerned anymore - I just feel great that I do not have to carry a huge book to work out or study :). All in all Im really happy with the material and service
Nice to have an tutor in my pocket, I can use it anywhere anytime)
I really like this app. Sometimes I use it just to distract)) A kind of a game for me))
Some bad moments
Crappy updates. Dont update if you still have 2016 version. I dont know what they r trying to achieve with the 2017 updates. I dont see the upgrade at all. Feel more like downgrade. Super long loading time for lessons. No more suggestions after lesson is over. No feed backs for lessons done. The questions given are repetitive and feels random. Ive tried it for the past week or two. Its less user friendly and doesnt generate continuous lessons as did the old version. Less helpful and doesnt have smooth continuity from the desktop lessons. Please convert back to the previous version. Wasting valuable review time with current update.
It works as a beta version, having a lot of problems yet. Being very slow, losting internet connection in many times and not saving your progress in the course.
The educational plan appears to be good. But the app have a few problems. The first screen, where you chose the time study is not working when you select the time. Some times, during the practicing questions, you cant choose any questions, simply dont work, some times you choose one then the app select another one. There is a lot to improve, but I think ca be a great app
Its mind boggling. I really wanted to like this because I am a huge fan of the GMAT tutor on the web. The offline functionality is awful. The app either wont load or will crashes repeatedly. Was this released with any sort of testing? Get the bugs figured out and then release the software. Its probably the worst app Ive ever downloaded from iTunes.
app is dreadfully unresponsive. I will be tapping an answer choice 20 times without it working. I am using a new iPad and all other apps work fine
I had high hopes but Ill stick to the iOS mobile site until this incredibly buggy app gets fixed. Im amazed the economist would put this on the App Store in this state: its horrible!!!
